Project Scarf is a collaborative charity knitting project. Knitters of all ages from across the United States contribute sections of hand knit scarves toward the creation of one long scarf, which is then dismantled and donated. To read about Project Scarf, view pictures, and for information on how to participate, please visit our website: www.projectscarf.org;. You can also find us on Facebook. Please join in the creation of the 2nd Annual Project Scarf for 2012-2013: participation is free and open to one and all!
Project Scarf aims to celebrate traditional handcrafts and promote the skill of knitting, while helping those in need. We hope to provoke thought, start conversations, and inspire imagination through participatory art, while building communities by joining the handwork of many into a single whole. Project Scarf seeks to create a work of beauty with a purpose.
